I’ve been working on issues of poverty for more than 20 years, and so it’s ironic that the problem that and question that I most grapple with is how you actually define poverty. What does it mean? So often, we look at dollar terms — people making less than a dollar or two or three a day. And yet the complexity of poverty really has to look at income as only one variable. Because really, it’s a condition about choice, and the lack of freedom…more

Opportunity Goes Beyond Money – January 16th through 20th at 6:30 p.m. est. Join us at Google Me Talk Radio

Today we need to know if “Opportunity Goes Beyond Money.” We are all aware of the fact that we are motivated by money. Virtually all of us exchange their time and talents for financial remuneration to meet our personal needs. For this reason money is indeed a powerful motivator! We all knows that we should receive occasional increases in compensation to maintain a high level of motivation. However, increasing the money paid to us is actually a short term motivator. In time, the increase in income simply becomes the expected norm. Some of us will appreciate a raise in salary, but may not be personally motivated by this action. Aside from providing a strong incentive by offering more money, it is important to find other forms of motivation beyond money, this is why Opportunity Goes Beyond The Money.

I love living. it is infectious. I have been blessed to see greatness truly exists in all of us. My God given talent is naturally. My skill were developed by hours and hours of sharing and learning.

I’ve never really viewed myself as particularly talented, where I excel is sharing and care about people. I dedicate myself to becoming better every single day, communicating with people and reaching out to them offering a helping hand.

The only thing that I see that is distinctly different about me is that I’m not afraid of life. You might have more talent than me, you might be smarter than me, but if you are afraid of life then you have to take the first step and start sharing, caring and opening your heart. If you are not making someone else’s life better, then you are wasting your time. Your life will become better by making other people’s lives better.

The first step before anyone else in the world believes it is that YOU have to believe it. So look into the mirror and say ” I am going to reach out today and make someone else’s life better”.

When Jim launched Google Me Talk Radio, Don was irresistably drawn to the format, having a strong background in communications. Before very long, the two – along with various third-party “assistants” – talked their way into the hearts and minds of thousands of listeners with their down-to-earth conversations about online business, home-based business, and even local offline businesses. Basically, if it had anything to do with business and the internet, it was fair game for discussion on the program, and no mater what the topic may have been, it usually was discussed in great detail with callers to the popular internet talk radio program, which still enjoys Blog Talk Radio’s “Featured Host” status for the third year running.

“There’s something about talk radio that’s always appealed to me,” said Don recently. “I had considered going into talk radio myself, but like most people I just didn’t think I would be able to do a half-hour monologue about anything, let alone a full hour. But on Google Me Talk Radio I simply have conversations with Jim and our callers, and it seems like there’s never enough time in the show to cover everything we want to talk about. I can’t imagine NOT doing the show now, and with recent turns of events we’re looking forward to a banner year as we continue to give our audience the very best we have to offer, straight from our hearts, with no frills or embellishments. People want the truth, and Jim and I simply tell it to them as we see it.”
